The apprenticeship scheme is open to individuals who are positive and passionate about a career in public service. Our programme runs for 18 to 24 months, during which time our apprentices will gain a vast amount of work experience within all areas our policing environment.
Embarking on this apprenticeship will allow you the opportunity to develop new skills, knowledge and a wide experience in supporting staff functions of Nottinghamshire Police, giving you the chance to become a valued member of one of our many departments.

Our apprenticeship opportunities offer level 3, 4 or 5 Standards of qualification in a variety of areas. Each apprentice has access to a dedicated coordinator and support for their learning and welfare.
Nottinghamshire Police apprentices are employed on an 18 to 24 month contract. The working week is 37 hours and as a living wage employer, we offer a competitive rate of pay from £16K to £18K subject to evaluation and the training standard.
This apprenticeship programme is open to individuals who have the drive, ambition and desire to contribute to the success of the organisation.
You must be over 18. A security vetting check will be carried out on you to assess the trustworthiness and integrity of you and your associates. You will be subject to the same criteria as our staff members. Your application may not be accepted if there is a conflict of interest in your professional life or another volunteering role.
As part of your application, therefore, you are asked to disclose the nature of your employment or details of other voluntary work you do.
Minimum requirements to apply for this role are 5 GCSE’s A*- C (4-9). Candidates are required to attach their qualifications as a supporting document on their application form. Individuals who have not yet obtained their GCSE results are required to attach their predicted grades.
