This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
This service is for solicitors and insurance companies acting on behalf of a client, to check whether a copy of a collision report is available.
If you're a member of the public, please email us for more information.
Fill in the 'Request a collision report form' below and email it to us as well as sending a non-refundable administration fee of £48.00, required for us to search our databases for your information.
Please make sure you add all the relevant details, otherwise we'll have to charge you an extra administration fee.
Costs involved for different types of report are available in a download below.
If you want a copy of the report from the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit (FCIU) please include this on your request form, under the 'other documentation' section.
When we've confirmed we have the information, make your payment in one of the following ways.
Payment for fees can be made in one of two ways:
1. By debit or credit card via the Gov.uk/pay portal
Or
2. By BACS / Electronic funds transfer. Please send the non-refundable Bacs payment using the bank details below and email the attached form to Accident Records.
Please note we do not accept cheques.
If you're requesting a copy of the collision report, or limited details of a third-party, it can take several months from the date we receive your payment.
Please note, collision reports can only be released once the case has been closed.
If you have any queries, please email us.
