Upcoming Misconduct Hearing for Police Constable and Former Police Constable
Police Constable 976 Thomas Lee-Storey and Former Police Constable 4452 Amy Jowett are to attend a Misconduct Hearing at Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters Sherwood Lodge, Arnold Nottingham NG5 8PP, on the 24, 25 and 30 September 2026, commencing at 9am.
Nature of the misconduct allegation
On 29 October 2024 a member of the public, Person A, made a 999 call to Nottinghamshire Police, making threats towards Person B.
A short time later a 999 call was made by Person B stating she was receiving threats from Person A. Person A and Person B are family members.
PC Lee-Storey and PC Jowett were assigned to the incident and attended the home address of Person B.
It is alleged that whilst dealing with the incident PC Lee-Storey:
- Failed to act diligently and or expeditiously
- Failed to abide to Nottinghamshire Police's Domestic Abuse Procedure
- Failed to act with integrity when knowing that an update provided by his colleague was false and or deliberately misleading
- Provided information to his line manager which he knew or ought to have known was dishonest or deliberately misleading
- Lacked integrity when suggesting that a member of the public had provided dishonest information
- Lacked respect and courtesy for a member of the public
- His conduct undermined public confidence in the police service
It is alleged that whilst dealing with the incident Former PC Jowett:
- Failed to act diligently and or expeditiously
- Failed to abide to Nottinghamshire Police's Domestic Abuse Procedure
- Failed to act with honesty and integrity when updating force systems with information which was not true
- Her conduct undermined public confidence in the police service

Members of the public and the media may attend subject to the following conditions:
• Any member of the public or accredited member of the media wishing to attend the hearing must produce valid identification.
• No person present at the hearing shall cause the true identity of Person A or Person B to be written down, recorded and/or otherwise transmitted to any person outside of the hearing.
• If there are parts of the hearing which the chair directs to be held in private, any member of the media or press attending the hearing will be asked to leave during the private hearing and will be informed by the Hearings Officer when they can return.
If any member of the public or media wishes to observe this hearing, please pre-register by using the online registration form before 9am on Monday 21 September 2026.
Anyone who has not pre-registered will not be accepted into the hearing.
You will be informed by the Hearings Officer by 6pm on Monday 21 September if you have been reserved a place.
Conditions of entry:
All attendees will need to provide identification on the day of admittance to the misconduct hearing to allow verification of their identity.
They will also have to sign to adhere to a number of conditions allowing them entry.
No recording or filming of the proceedings is allowed.
