Police, Partners, and residents have raised concerns around drug offences across the areas. Concerns raised have been around Cannabis grows and drugs dealing. NPT and partners plan to work together, evict those tenants that are causing issues and advise and take appropriate action when required.
Issued 01 July 2025
Drug offences have a detrimental impact on our communities and vulnerable persons, we want to tackle this issue robustly. As a result, NPT carried out a couple of unrelated drug warrants with the Cannabis Dismantling Team. Over 1000 cannabis plants were seized in total. Two offenders were arrested, charged and remanded. NPT will work with our partners and residents to reduce this issue. This is a fantastic result, and NPT will continue to tackle this issue.

NPT had calls from businesses about a man causing anti-social behaviour. NPT attended and arrested a male for being drunk and disorderly. Despite this, we would like to reassure partners and the community that ASB incidents have reduced and we will continue to patrol and reassure the community.
