Bassetlaw Policing Priorities - January – March 2023
Bassetlaw Inspector Hayley Crawford every quarter in line with the PCC’s survey decides on the priorities based on survey results (community), current police data and discussion with Bassetlaw district councils community safety manager and CEO.

1.) Serious Acquisitive Crime (SAC)

SAC offences such as burglary and vehicle theft feature highly on the PCC's community feedback survey. Our local police data also reflects this.

2.) Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
ASB continues to be activity which whilst not always criminal does cause concern for people in the community. There has been an 18% decrease in reports over the last month and overall a decrease of 9% over the last year in Bassetlaw. We continue to work with our partners especially those in Bassetlaw District Council's ASB team to continue to tackle the issues experienced by members of the public.

3.) Drug Dealing and Supply
Drug dealing and supply again features high on the PCC's Crime survey. Again this is a priority for the police in Bassetlaw who frequently carry out proactive patrols in areas identified and also execute several misuse of drugs act warrants.
