We have decided to keep ASB as an ongoing priority into the next quarter. Recent data indicates a fall in ASB across the district which is positive, however community feedback still indicates this is a primary concern. We focus our efforts on areas with high level of reporting, and so if you are experiencing ASB it is vital that this is reported to the police or NSDC. In the last month the team have taken part in the school safety event, in which hundreds of primary age children have taken part. A specific input on ASB was delivered by neighbourhood officers in an effort to educate and prevent these children becoming involved in crime and ASB.
As we go into the summer months the team will be under taking targeted patrols, particularly in our parks and open spaces, as well as the town and village centres, to deter and disrupt these behaviours.
