1. Drug Supply and Production; Rushcliffe has seen an increase in the reporting of drug related activity, and specifically, information linked to cannabis production. In this quarter, we will seek to disrupt the production and supply of controlled drugs, as well as disrupting the ASB associated with the use of drugs in public places. Update 09/03/2025 - 3 cannabis grows seized in January, further misuse of drugs act warrants executed which has led to an arrest for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, also an operation has led to 2 arrests & remands for imporation of drugs.
2. ASB in West Bridgford; Following concerns raised about ASB in Bridgford town centre and the park, we will seek to patrol the areas at key times, and seek to engage with those involved. We will seek to disrupt, dissuade and divert persons engaging in Anti-social behaviour, as well as working with partner agencies to target harden locations, and design out crime. Update 09/03/2025 - A new Problem Management Plan is in place, with patrols and interventions being planned to combat recent damage to playing equipment in the park
3. Car Cruising and Road Safety; We will retain our focus on combatting the anti-social use of our road system in Rushcliffe, as well as working to prevent serious collisions through targeted activity. We will retain a visible presence and a pro-active mindset when seeking to make our roads safer. Update 09/03/2025 - OP WHEELSPIN patrols supported by the NPT at peak weekend times.
