1 – Burglary
2 – Shop Theft
3 – Drug Supply & associated ASB
To run from April to June 2025
Issued 01 April 2025
1. Burglary; Rushcliffe has seen an increase in the reporting of Burglary. Whilst there have been numerous arrests, there will be an increased focus on disruption of individuals believed to be involved in burglaries, as well as our NPT supporting the CID teams currently investigating the crime series.
2. Shop Theft; Whilst numbers were low over late 2024, there has been an increase in reporting of shop thefts in the early part of 2025. We will seek to target prolific offenders with arrest, prosecution, and the use of Criminal Behaviour Orders, as well as continuing to work with shops to reduce the likelihood of offences taking place.
3. Drug supply and associated ASB; Whilst the first quarter saw a large amount of drug enforcement activity, I'm keen to ensure we retain a grip on this issue, and we will seek to disrupt any street dealing and associated ASB in public spaces, as well as our warrant based enforcement
