    Action taken:

  • Priority:

ASB February 2023 to April 2023
In consultation with our partners we have set the priority for the City West - Aspley/Bilborough areas as youth related Anti-Social Behaviour for the next three months.
The neighbourhood Policing team across the West read and analyse all reports of ASB on the area to identify hot spot areas for priority patrols as well as repeat offenders.
We encourage you to call 101 and report incidents of ASB this enables us to target our resources effectively and efficiently.

    Issued 31 January 2023

    Action taken:

February 2023 to April 2023 Update
I am pleased to report that ASB continues to improve around Harvey Haddon and Strelley Court as a result of partnership work between the Police and NCH. We have seen reports of groups of youths loitering and causing ASB to staff and visitors to the Bells Lane Community Centre. To combat this we have increased patrols and engagement with those identified as being involved in the ASB.
As the evenings start to become lighter patrols will be in place to cover areas of concern and address the expected increase in ASB as pupils return to Educational premises.
Broxtowe country park continues to attract motor bikes riding off road, this causes a danger for other uses of the park as well as a noise nuisance for residents that live nearby. We have secured some additional funding which means we can put some focused uniformed patrols in place. During the Neighbourhood Policing week of action (23rd January to 29th January 2023) officers took part in public engagement involving circulating flyers advising the public regarding the law and issues surrounding the use of off-road motorbikes. There are numerous difficulties in actually catching and stopping these riders but rest assured the matter is part of our on-going priority and patrols. During the week of action an off road motor bike was seized and the rider prosecuted for driving offences.
Please continue to report any anti-social behaviour on 101 as without these calls we do not get the full picture of what is happening on the area.

    Actioned 31 January 2023
