    ASB - July 2025 - Sept 2025

During a recent multi agency meeting it has been decided that the Policing priority for July 2025 to September 2025 on all five wards (Aspley, Bilborough, Basford, Wollaton and Leen Valley) would continue to be Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB). This will cover the lighter evenings, warmer weather and the school holidays. The Police will provide additional patrols around parks and open spaces as well as streets and public buildings and engage with youths signposting to local youth provision, areas highlighted of issue include Wollaton park, the Harvey Haddon Sports complex grounds and the now derelict Glenbrook management centre. We will be having days of action in relation to the off-road bike ASB issue in Broxtowe Country Park. We will also continue with operations to combat the ASB that is being seen on the NET tram network. We will also be having monthly meetings with our partners to ensure that we are patrolling the places experiencing the most ASB. We are also working with local schools and clubs to address any concerns providing a multi-layered problem-solving approach. We encourage any member of the public to report ASB to us on 101.

    Issued 01 July 2025

    Action taken:

    June update

During June 2025 we have taken report of 32 incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB) on the Aspley ward. There is no identified pattern of these incidents and only a couple of locations have experienced more than one incident reported over the month. We have implemented two problem-solving plans to address the issues, one a general one to target youth ASB on the ward and another to tackle the off-road motor bike ASB particularly on Broxtowe Country Park. On 28/05/2025 we had day of action on the Country Park utilising the new Notts Police CCTV Van and delivering information leaflets about the legislation surrounding off road bikes. We request that any ASB incidents are reported on 101 so that we can address any identified problems on the Aspley Ward.
